A Movement to Help Orphan and Poor Girls for Higher Education & Employment

Our Services

The lower ratio of girl children population is due to,

  • Foeticide
  • Infanticide
  • Abandoning the girl child in the streets.
  • Selling the girl child.
  • Abduction.
  • Malnutrition.
  • Trafficking etc.

By implementing this project “SAVE OUR DAUGHTERS INDIA”, definitely there will be a sea change in the minds of the poor parents to value girl child. The less fortunate orphan girls can live like others and need not feel thet they are left out in the society.

This scheme natrurally is a step towards

  • Reducing child mortality.
  • (Conceiving is the will of God and he wants the child to be born alive and grow to have a good life)
  • Relieving from hunger.
  • Supporting health measures.
  • Respecting human values.
  • Helping poverty alleviation.
  • Promoting cause of peace.

It seems God comes to the rescue of orphans in the form of the KIND HEARTED CITIZENS.

“ABOUBEN ADHEM” – MAY HIS TRIBE INCREASE ! (Poem by Leigh hunt)

This scheme was experimented 2 years ago by helping one orphan girl child (Father deserted the family), who joined Perur Tamil College in B.Sc. Comp.Sc and she is now pursuing final year successfully.

Next year we identified an orphanage Annai Sathya Illam in Peelamedu Coimbatore and arranged free tuitions to the XII std girls 14 Nos so that they get good marks to become eligible for admission in colleges. 2 girls failed, 2 did not join as they preferred employment, rest 10 have joined colleges.

Also helped poor and orphan girls who were dropouts for want of money to pay fees earlier were given a chance to join colleges by requesting V.C. Dr. Thiruvasagam, Bharathiar University, who helped 30 girls to get free education.

A Special case : The daughter of a murder convict who died in prison was helped to get admission to diploma in Women’s Polytechnic in 2nd year and the fees was paid. She is now in final year.

This year around 25 girls joined colleges and it continues

Dr. V.G. Mohan Prasad, a trustee of Save Our Daughters India has taken up the orphanage in Keeranoor and 10 children are benefited through him and his friends.

This movement has spread to the districts of Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Trichy, Namakkal, Ramanathapuram etc. It is taking its roots in the USA, Dubai, Canada, etc through friends.

Help from Abroad

Help from Abroad

A girl Elizabeth studying XI Std in the USA is a neighbour to my son Venkat Sampath. She came to Coimbatore and she is so compassionate towards orphans and she visited various orphanages. Finally she came forward to help one girl child for higher education and after going back home talked to her friends and 10 girls came forward to help and they are engaged in fund raising for this noble cause.

Our future plans are to see that maximum number of orphanages are covered by such scheme and the orphan girls are encouraged to join higher education and we arrange employment.

Thus the below poverty line people are lifted above poverty line. Thus the sufferings of the poor and the needy are alleviated. Let us pray for their welfare.
